1. What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a special web address that lets a retailer know a visitor came from our site. If that visitor buys a qualifying product, the retailer may pay us a small commission.
The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link. The commission comes from the retailer, not from you.
2. Amazon Associates
Eco Kitchen Products is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. This website is independent. It is not owned by, operated by or endorsed by Amazon.
3. Our editorial independence
Earning commissions is how we keep this site running, but it does not decide what we write. Our approach is:
- We recommend a product because we think it is useful for a specific type of buyer, not because it pays more.
- We include honest drawbacks, and we say so when a product is not worth buying.
- We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review or a higher ranking.
- We do not publish fake reviews or invented testimonials.
You can read more about how we work on our About page and in our Editorial Policy.
4. How to spot affiliate links
We aim to make affiliate relationships obvious. Where we use affiliate links, you will usually see:
- A short notice near the top of the page or article.
- Button or link text such as “Check price on Amazon”.
- The standard notice in the footer of every page.
Here is an example of how it looks inside an article:
This post contains affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Check price on AmazonOur affiliate links are also marked in the page code as sponsored links, so search engines understand the relationship.
5. Prices and availability
We try not to show prices on our pages, because they change often. If we mention a price, it may be out of date. The price, availability and details shown on the retailer’s product page at the time you buy are the ones that apply.
Please check the current information on the retailer’s website before you purchase.
6. Free products and samples
If we ever receive a free product or sample from a brand, we will say so clearly in the related content. A free product does not guarantee a review, a positive opinion or a recommendation.
7. Other affiliate programs
We may join other affiliate programs in the future. If we do, links from those programs will be disclosed in the same way, and this page will be updated.
9. Questions
If anything on this page is unclear, or you think a link or review is not properly disclosed, please contact us. We take transparency seriously and will look into it.
